Pressed Lemon
One day when I was trying to make ‘Mad World’ a little funnier, I decided that Quinn would dream about Santana calling her a ‘repressed lesbian’, but when she woke up she would be unable to rememeber what Santana actually said and would instead remember ‘pressed lemon’.
I think the term became famous when rachberry and qfabrayused it in their fantastic RP, and from there it spiralled into mass usage.

So yes, I did coin the term pressed lemon. Don’t actually know how it is so famous now, and most people don’t really know where it’s from but it’s okay!! Feel free to throw the term around and unpress some lemons~
